Rev. Dr. Eric H. F. Law

The Rev. Dr. Eric H. F. Law is the Founder of the Kaleidoscope Institute for Diverse and Sustainable Communities since 2005. In 2023, he retired from being the Executive Director and take on the role of the “Innovator” to continue to create new curricula and consultations.

From 2002 to 2005, he was the Missioner for Congregation Development of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles.

In 1996, he was called to be the Ministry and Congregation Development Officer of the Diocese of New Westminster in British Columbia, Canada. For three years, he worked intensively with over 50 churches in the diocese addressing both congregation development concerns as well as diversity issues.

For the last 30 years, he has been a consultant and trainer in intercultural competency and congregational vitality working with churches from all the major denominations in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Early in his ministry, he served as the seminarian-in-charge of the Boston Chinese Ministry (1983-1984), and the Campus Minister at the University of Southern California (1984-1991) where he developed many innovative ministry models for reaching young adults and multicultural ministry development.

He is the author of over 10 books including Fear Not: Living Grace and Truth in a Frightened World, Holy Currencies, Holy Currencies Exchange, Drawing on Holy Currencies, The Wolf Shall Dwell with the Lamb and Inclusion: Making Room for Grace. He is an Episcopal priest, a composer of church music, a visual artist and a playwright.
