Nicholas Tangen is the Assistant to the Bishop for Faith and Neighboring at the Minneapolis Area Synod. His work includes leading Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices, a learning community for Lutheran churches curious about their call to be faithful neighbors.
Nicholas writes about the church, the neighborhood, and place-based ministry, and hosts the podcast “At the Table: Christian Community for the Common Good.” He is a Benedictine Oblate, passionate about monastic Christianity and the contemplative tradition.
He lives in the Windom Park Neighborhood of NE Minneapolis with his spouse Kristin.
