Linday Fertig-Johnson

Lindsay Fertig-Johnson (she/her) is a Lutheran deaconess (LDA), a graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary (MDiv), and a candidate for ordination to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). A passionate steward of generosity, Lindsay currently serves as the Generosity Director for the Northern Illinois Synod of the ELCA, where she supports synod-wide stewardship and fundraising efforts to further the work of the church.
She holds an Associate of Arts in Religion from Cuyahoga Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Global Service and Theology from Valparaiso University, and a Master of Science in Business Leadership from Concordia College – New York.
A creative at heart, Lindsay is a published graphic artist and doodler who views art as a spiritual practice, fostering connection with the Creator. She has collaborated extensively with nonprofits and faith communities on purposeful storytelling and is deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces of healing and renewal for leaders and communities working on the front lines of social change.
