Abby Grifno

Abby Grifno was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and now works as a high school English teacher. She loves to write about local culture and has work featured in Bethesda Magazine, The Washington City Paper, and more. As the daughter of an immigrant and living in a time of deep political turmoil, Abby has often thought critically about her role in the church and in the world. Ultimately, she believes that liberation is not a singular destination but a practice we can all take part in.
